Adani Vidya Mandirs
Adani Vidya Mandirs provide completely free high-quality education, along with free transportation, uniforms, books and nutritious food to meritorious students who come from economically weaker sections of the society. These schools have state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities and are currently operating in Ahmedabad and Bhadreshwar in Gujarat and Surguja in Chhattisgarh.
Adani Vidyalayas offer subsidized quality education to children from the surrounding communities of Tirora in Maharashtra and Kawai in Rajasthan. The schools are focused on quality teaching and learning and also regularly conduct a number of curricular and co-curricular activities along with various exhibitions for the overall development of the students.
Adani Public School
Adani Public School at Mundra, Gujarat, offers excellent subsidized education to students of the nearby areas. Adani Foundation in partnership with the District Administration and Eckovation Solutions Pvt. Ltd. launched Gyanodaya project in August 2018 to promote e-learning through Smart Classes. Gyanodaya project covers 241 govt. schools of Godda district of Jharkhand benefitting more than 65,000 students.
The aim of the Navchetan Vidyalaya situated at Junagam in Hazira, Gujarat, is to provide subsidised high-quality education to the children from nearby rural areas. To promote education amongst the regional populace, the school provides free food and academic material support such as uniforms, notebooks, workbooks, textbooks and stationery to the students. The school is well-equipped with smart classrooms and houses all facilities required for holistic development of its students.
The Government of Gujarat approved Adani Foundation’s proposal to adopt 17 Government Primary Schools in the Mundra taluka in Gujarat covering seven villages namely, Zarpara, Navinal. Shiracha, Nanakapaya, Tunda, Wandh and Dhrub on May 25, 2018. As of now, 5017 students, 24 schools at 35 villages are the direct beneficiaries. Adani Foundation has adapted 10 schools in Hazira 10 schools, on 27th November, 2019 and eight schools in Nakhatrana on 21st November, 2019.
Adani DAV Public School
Adani DAV Public School provides subsidised quality education to students from the nearby communities of Bhadrak District of Odisha. It is equipped with 16 modern classrooms, two libraries, science and computer labs, an audio visual room as well as facilities to promote sports and creative activities. This international standard school is run by the Adani Foundation in collaboration with the DAV College Trust.
Adani-KISS Residential School
The Adani Foundation, in collaboration with the renowned Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences recently inaugurated the Adani-KISS Residential School in Bairpada, Mayurbhanj. Dedicated to the tribal population of Odisha, the school with state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities on a 50 acres’ campus will be providing KG to PG education, along with free food and residential facilities.
Other Activities under Education Initiatives
The Adani Foundation, in collaboration with the renowned and illustrious Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, is setting up a branch of the institute with state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities for the benefit of tribal children in the tribal populated Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. This will be the largest tribal institute of its kind providing KG to PG education, along with free food and residential facilities, to more than 25,000 tribal children of Odisha and its neighbouring states.
In association with respective state governments, we provide infrastructure support such as infrastructure upgradation, furniture and sound systems to the government schools as well as educational & sports material, school bags and books to the students.
It also aids Aanganwadis and Balwaadis by creating a fun-filled environment for the children. It has played a significant role in nurturing around 1,00,000 children of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Odisha, Jharkhand, Karnataka and Kerala.
