Many smart learning programs as well as projects to adopt government schools are being run in remote areas to ensure the realization of true potential of children.

Adani Vidya Mandirs

Adani Vidya Mandirs provide completely free high-quality education, along with free transportation, uniforms, books and nutritious food to meritorious students who come from economically weaker sections of the society. These schools have state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities and are currently operating in Ahmedabad and Bhadreshwar in Gujarat and Surguja in Chhattisgarh.

Gyanodaya

Adani Foundation in partnership with the District Administration and Eckovation Solutions Pvt. Ltd. launched Gyanodaya project in August 2018 to promote e-learning through Smart Classes. Gyanodaya project covers 241 govt. schools of Godda district of Jharkhand benefitting more than 65,000 students.

Utthan

The Government of Gujarat approved Adani Foundation’s proposal to adopt 17 Government Primary Schools in the Mundra taluka in Gujarat covering seven villages namely, Zarpara, Navinal. Shiracha, Nanakapaya, Tunda, Wandh and Dhrub on May 25, 2018. As of now, 5017 students, 24 schools at 35 villages are the direct beneficiaries. Adani Foundation has adapted 10 schools in Hazira 10 schools, on 27th November, 2019 and eight schools in Nakhatrana on 21st November, 2019.

Aamchi Shala Adarsha Shala Competition

The “Aamchi Shala Adarsha Shala” competition is a community engagement initiative by Adani Foundation in collaboration with the District Education department. It is aimed to motivate and rejuvenate the Government primary & upper primary schools. Under this initiative, a competition is held across government schools – it is designed on the basis of 41 quality parameters under 11 heads, which cover all aspects required to improve the standard of a school including quality of education and required amenities.
