Creating Better Infrastructure for Education
Adani Foundation has developed infrastructure measuring 2464 Smt for Adani Vidya Mandir, a English Medium school on 2.0 Ac plot near Bhadreshwar for children of underprivileged rural families including fisher-folks. In a pursuit to upgrade and provide adequate infrastructure in existing schools, Adani Foundation has assisted and constructed assembly halls, prayer hall, classrooms, computer labs, space for mid-day meal, playground, school walls etc. Assistance is provided in up-grading drinking water facility and sanitation in schools. Further, many children have been benefitted by construction of New School buildings at Tunda and Nana Kapaya.
The Foundation has assisted in various renovation works of school including toilet facility at Hazira and Damka. For, Navchetan school –Junagam, additional infrastructure was constructed for entire primary section. Mid-Day meal shed and separate toilet blocks were added to facilitate children. At, Prathmik Shala-Vansawa and Prathmik Shala-Barbodhan also, the Foundation constructed Mid-Day meal Shed. Besides, at the Prathmik Shala, Junagam, school repairing work was carried out. Adani Foundation constructed 3 additional classrooms for Navjagruti School and the school at Hazira site has been provided with an RO water facility.

Adani Foundation has constructed a total of 139 shelters for fisherfolk community who reside on the coast lines.
